We watched this part of a movie called Food Inc. the movie talked about how and where our food comes from. It said that 80% of our meat today comes from the top four companies. The top three animals that are being abused are cows pigs and chickens, some chickens that they grow cant even walk because they have been genetically been altred to just be almost all white meet. The section we watched today was about how this kid was killed by eating this meat from a meat plant that didn't get over checked for cleaning. Also the mother of this child was trying to pass law for over 7 years that would improve the safety in the meat plants. It also talks about how unhealthy some of the fast food places are. It says that the meat companies were trying to shut down a company that was outside cause it was outside and they actually let there chickens, pigs and cows roam around outside. The American corn companies were growing crow at a bigger and faster pace than the local farms so they were able to sell there corn a lot cheap than the local farms so all the local farms had to shut down because of these mass producing companies. And then all of these workers are getting fired and people are loosing jobs over one million jobs were lost because they cant keep up with these mass producing companies. The reason people are trying to mass produce this corn is because you can use it in almost everything  that we make. More people trying to push more organic food and meats. On the last day they started off by talking about how the soy bean companies control every thing in that department and how they don't let there farmers keep any seeds for there own profit. There only a few major plants that are small farmers that own there own companies. One farmer took some seeds for his own profit and he got put in jail and has a 25,000 dollar bail. And now since these people are getting sued by the companies. And then they finished the movie by showing the day the kid died one year later.
